CEO and Board Director
Tom is Chief Executive Officer and founder at Statera Energy and has 17 years’ of investment and development experience in the power sector. He has been responsible for delivering over 1.5GWs of renewable and battery capacity in the UK. Prior to founding Statera Energy, Tom was a Partner at Hazel Capital LLP, where he oversaw the delivery of 300MWs of renewable projects, after being an analyst on its public equity funds. Tom holds a 1st Class MEng in Civil Engineering with Construction Management from the University of Edinburgh.

Andrew is Statera’s Development Director and co-founder. He has been involved in the planning, environment and energy sector as a Chartered Surveyor for 37 years. He was a board Director at RPS Group PLC between 1991 and 2009. From 2010 Andrew co-developed over 200MW of solar schemes between 2010 and 2016. He was Development Director at Estover Energy between 2009 and 2020, a company that successfully developed, financed and built 3 biomass plants in the UK totalling 80MW in capacity. Andrew has led on the development of 2GW of consented projects at Statera.

Ben is Chief Financial Officer at Statera. He has twenty years’ of experience in the energy industry including including Centrica and BG Group; formerly CFO at Bioenergy Group and Diamond Generating Europe. He played a key role in raising bank debt and managing over €5bn of successful capex projects (Dutch offshore wind, Europe and Middle East solar, and thermal plants).

Dorothy is Chair and Independent Non-Executive Board Director of Statera. She has extensive experience in the power and renewable energy sectors, having held the position of CEO of one of Britain’s largest energy companies, Drax Group plc, for 12 years. Prior to this, Dorothy managed InterGen NV’s European power business.
Dorothy is Chair of Rotork plc, a FTSE 2050 engineering company; a non-executive director of Eaton Corporation, a NYSE listed S&P 500 power management company; and is also a board member of the EQT portfolio company Instavolt. She was previously a non-executive director on the Court of the Bank of England.
Dorothy holds a MSc in Monetary Economics and a BSc in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics from the London School of Economics.

Francesco is a Partner at EQT and Board Director of Statera. He provides senior insight to support EQT Infrastructure’s investment activity, portfolio companies and strategic initiatives.
Francesco was CEO of Enel Group, the Italian multinational electrical utility group, between 2014 and 2023, where he transitioned the business to one of the world’s largest renewable energy producers with the largest system of digitised electricity distribution grids.
He is Chair of the Science Based Target initiative; chair of the UN’s Sustainable Energy for All; a member of the Rockefeller Commission to End Energy Poverty; and served two terms as a member of the Board of Directors of the UN’s Global Compact, from 2015 to 2021.

Ben is a Managing Director at EQT, and Board Director of Statera. Ben oversees EQT’s investments in its portfolio companies InstaVolt, the rapid electric vehicle charging developer and operator, and Encyclis, an energy from waste company. He joined EQT in 2019.
Prior to this he was at Antin Infrastructure Partners working with Antin’s investments in Eurofiber, CityFibre and Westerleigh. Before that he worked at Rothschild focused on M&A transactions in the infrastructure, power and energy sectors.

Gillian, who joined the Statera Board in 2020, is an Independent Non-Executive Board Director and Chair of the Sustainability and Safety Committee. Gillian is Managing Director – Head of Power and Energy for Noble & Co, a corporate finance advisory firm.
Gillian was Strategy Director, Europe and subsequently Director of Corporate Strategy at Endesa SA, the Spanish multinational energy utility, with responsibilities across all of Endesa’s business units in Europe and Latin America. Prior to this, she spent five years with TXU Europe in the UK and Spain and seven years in investment banking in London and Hong Kong.
Gillian is Chair of char.gy Ltd, where she chairs the Audit and Remuneration Committees, and of DC25 Ltd. She is a non-executive director of Vidrala SA, Carrs Group plc and Gentrack Ltd. She was formerly a non-executive director of Scottish Enterprise.

Muriel is an Independent Non-Executive Board Director of Statera.
She served as Group Chief Financial Officer at Gunvor Group Ltd, one of the world's largest energy trading houses, from 2019 to 2022. Prior to this role, she was Managing Director, Head of Trade and Commodity Finance for the Americas at Rabobank in New York between 2015 and 2019. Muriel held finance positions including CFO Asia-Pacific at Gunvor Singapore Pte Ltd, Director and Chairman of the Management Committee, between 2009 and 2014.
Muriel holds a Master of Advanced Management from Yale University, an Executive MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.

Peter is an Independent Non-Executive Board Director of Statera. Peter was Global CEO and Chair of the Executive Board of Arcadis, the international design and engineering consultancy, between 2017 and 2023.
Peter was Chief Operating Officer at Fluor, the international engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance and project management company, from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that he held a number of roles including as President of the Energy and Chemicals group globally, running the Global Chemicals Business Line, and General Manager for The Netherlands. He joined the business in 1988 as a Controls System Engineer.
Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Noordelijke Hogeschool Leeuwarden.
