The Grendon battery storage project is located near Grendon in Northamptonshire. With a peak output of 50MW, it has the potential to provide enough power for over 110,000 average UK homes at any moment in time.
The project was developed and built out under an EPCM contract by Statera Energy. The project is owned by Gresham House Energy Storage Fund plc (GRID). It is currently maintained under an O&M contract by Statera Energy Operations.
